Love at First Set
Nails have always been more than a hobby for Niketa, they were a calling from the very beginning. “I started polishing nails and recreating 90s designs as early as sixth grade,” she explains. What began as a fun, creative outlet quickly became a full-blown passion. By high school, she was already experimenting with acrylics, honing her skills by hand in her bedroom, and imagining the beauty business she hoped to one day own.
After graduating from college, she took the leap and enrolled in nail school, officially turning her dream into reality. That decision set everything in motion, and she continues to climb to success and pursue her dreams.

Giving Back
Of all the roles she plays, it’s teaching that fills her cup the most. “Watching someone gain confidence in their skills, that’s what it’s all about,” she says. “That 'a ha' moment when something clicks, or when a student realizes they can truly make a career out of this, those are the moments that remind me why I started teaching. It’s about community, growth, and giving back to the industry that gave so much to me.”
Niketa’s advice for aspiring nail artists? Focus on your craft first. “Master the fundamentals, keep learning, and don’t be afraid to ask for help,” she encourages. “It’s easy to chase trends, but consistency and education will always set you apart.”
