I like a shape of nail in between a coffin and the round. I wish they did an OVAL nail. These are a true stiletto without looking too pointy. The nail bed tip is slightly rounded but I had to shape them to fit my natural cuticle area. As with all the Apres nails they work great and weigh next to nothing on your hands.

A hint: make sure that your have enough product on the base of the Apres nail or you will get bubbles. When I did my dominant hand using my left hand, I made a mess of three fingers so I had to cure them all the way, grind them down and start over. Of course my non dominant hand (left) looked great. :)

I also had a bit of a problem putting the white gel nail polish on the tips and colouring the bits on the side, no matter what I did I could not get in finely on the sides when it was on my fingers.

Then an EUREKA moment!! I first painted on the white gel
polish onto the tips before they were on my hands. I put all ten of the Apres on a board and used two coats and cured them. Then proceeded as instructed, they turned out great. I had to use two coats of top coat to fill in the lines atop the Apres nail.

I bought a clip on UV/LED one with a gooseneck which angles down - it worked way better and only needed 10 seconds to flash cure. Then cure for 60 seconds using my 48W UV/LED lamp.

For removal I used a gel remover (acetone) as suggested but it took me way longer to remove. I suggest that you grind down as much of the product (watch out for your real nail) and then do the acetone/remover and it works well. My set lasted almost three weeks but that could have been due to operator error :))

I have not the fill in method as I prefer a fresh set of nails every month or so but I can't see any problem if these were filled instead. I figure that I use just as much time infilling so why not a fresh set but my opinion only. You will love your nails, I do:))
