Video Editor - Video Motion


What you'll be doing: Aprés is looking for a talented Video Editor/ Motion Graphic Designer to join our growing marketing team. They will be responsible for editing all social, education & web content. They will also be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, & creating motion graphics for all video content. They will report directly to the Video Content Manager.

  • Edit all video content including but not limited to: new campaigns, social media content, informational/ design video tutorials, ecommerce product content, & educational video content under the direction of the Video Content Manager.
  • Create motion graphics & 2D/3D animation for social & education content. ● Balance and color grade all video content
  • Mix, level, & sync audio for all video content
  • Ability to concept and design storyboards, style frames for required animations and graphics
  • Create captions/ titles for english videos & captions/ titles for translated copy for non-english videos.
  • Design thumbnails for videos
  • Build out templates and overlays that will be used in videos.
  • Collaborate with team members in brainstorming sessions by providing creative input & relevant video production knowledge to carry out concepts & ensure all requirements for videos are met.
  • Assist with filming when needed
  • Assist with retouching/ editing photos, and creating design graphics when needed Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts in Film or related field
  • 5 + years experience in editing for digital media platforms
  • 3+ years of experience in creating motion graphics for digital media platforms
  • Strong experience using Video editor/ motion design software (After Effects, Premiere, Cinema 4D, Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva)
  • Proficiency at concepting design & storyboarding
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
  • Positive personality, desire to learn, and works well in a collective environment
  • A natural-born storyteller with a flow of creative ideas to engage video viewers
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
  • Bilingual (can speak/ read in Japanese and/ or Spanish is a plus
